Hoya IPAD VisuReal system
Buying

Thanks to
the Hoya VisuReal system, however, Kent Eye Care offers
exactly this.
The VisuReal system is the combination of a computer, a video program and a
special camera with which we take still images and videos
of you wearing various
frames. The software is able to
simulate the effect different types of lenses
will have
and can help patients previsualize the hues of coloured lenses, the
advantages of anti-reflective coating and enables them to
compare various kinds
of lenses. To facilitate selection,
the alternatives can then be viewed next to
each other.
This makes the task of choosing the best optical frame and lens to
match the anatomical characteristics of your face a lot
easier - even in cases
when otherwise you wouldn't be able
to see yourself clearly in a mirror with a
demo
lens.
To achieve the highest wearing comfort and the
best possible acuity, the centre position of the pupils
also needs to be marked
on the spectacle lenses. Most
opticians do this manually. Using the I PAD
visuReal video
centering system, this is carried out with great precision by a
computer while the patient assumes a natural body posture,
something that is
also very important for getting an
accurate result. During the examination the
VisuReal
system displays and records every measurement in a log that, should it
be necessary, can later be used as a reference.
