What is involved?
Whatever the requirements every member of our team are dedicated to providing a high standard of optical care, and will endeavour to accommodate any circumstance.
- We will arrange for our fully qualified optometrist (ophthalmic optician) to come to your home at a time convenient for you
- We will carry out a full eye examination and explain our findings and recommendations whether that be the need for new spectacles, referral to your GP, referral to the hospital eye department or indeed if everything is normal with no cause for worry or further action
How long do I have to wait for an appointment?
From the first enquiry our fully qualified registered Optometrist, and Dispenser aim to visit each patient within three weeks.
Safeguards
We deal with some of the most vulnerable groups in our community.
- We are fully registered with the health authority in Kent
- We work in conjunction with social services and elderly organizations
- We have been fully checked and vetted by the elderly health authorities
- All our opticians are fully qualified and registered with the general optical council
- All our staff are identifiable by name badges and patients will be phoned the day before their appointment to ensure they know whom and at what time to expect us.
All these checks are done for the safety and well being of our patients
